Some really great stories here.

In I, Robot (no relation to the movie) a mechanical man ponders his fate while being pursued by angry villagers.

In The Quality of Mercy, a young man is held prisoner by an alien race during an intergalactic war. Alone with a young woman, a fellow soldier, he struggles to outwit his strange captors, and the fate of the earth hangs in the balance. This was a very compelling story and the twist sent me reeling.

In The Voyage Home, a strange alien artifact found on the moon changes the lives of three astronauts forever. Another story that makes you think. Very powerful.

The only story I did not like was The Forms of Things Unknown. I could not get into the writer's style and did not fully understand the story, and ended up only reading half of it. But the other three stories make the book worthwhile.
