I have never found the Outlander books in LP but I have copies of all the Lord John series in LP.  Don't know why one series, but not the other.

No, the Outlander series is not available in large print, due mainly to the fact that, since it is so long, nobody would be able to lift an LP version.  The Lord John books were a LOT shorter. Gabaldon discusses this on her website: http://www.dianagabaldon.com/2010/12/availability-issues/

Ahhh - that makes sense!  I didn't realize the books were so long, as I haven't read them.  I was hoping to get them for my mom who has to have large print.  I'll try another series. Thanks for the info, Elizabeth!

You can get them in e-book form, I just downloaded Outlander on my Nook and I can set the print larger as needed. Top that off with my glowlight feature and I can read in bed...fun

Laura B. - if your library offers OneClickDigital - most,  if not all books,  in the Outlander series are free to download as an audiobook.  It "disappears" at the due date but if it is transferred to an iPod or mp3 player it stays.  Of course, it is probably about 40 hours of listening to each.

If you already knew this....nevermind.

It is about to come out as a television series on Starz.
