Reading this book was like watching the movie. Of course, this wasn't made into a movie but it would make a great one. They wouldn't include ALL the love scenes though... this IS a romance novel. But, there is so much to this story, which made it so engrossing.

Pop off the pages, come to life dimentional characters...Likeable, everyone of them, except of course for the main villain.

April 15, 1865, the remnants of Quantrill's Confederate guerrillas raise the white flag of surrender to Union troops per the President's declaration of promised Amnesty. But what they got wasn't amnesty...and so the story begins.
