This book was sooo excellent, it was at times heart wrenching, but I LOVED it. Can't wait to read the next one.

One of my favorites by this author. Also one of my keepers. Heroine from today, after a blow to the head, ends up right into an ongoing battle between Saxons and Berserkers. It was a great story. Loved the hero!

It took a while for things to get going for me and I'm still not sure how much I really liked Rain. Selik was a great hero and had a nice sense of humor. All in all an average read.

Great time travel story about a tall woman doctor who follows her
"barmy" mother's earlier visit into the past. Dr Rain samples medieval life and manages to work things out with her hunky Viking soul mate.

This time travel book takes up about ten years after book one ends. We revisit the villages and many of the characters we met before. The male lead, Selik has been driven nearly insane by events that would take anyone to their knees. His revenge is all that keeps him going. During a vicious and losing battle he finds the daughter of old friends on the battle field. They basically rescue each other. Their road to love is not easy, but it is powerful. I loved this damaged, fragile honorable warrior. Tears were shed again and I enjoyed the ending. There was also lots of humor.

Dr. Rain Jordan is proud of her Norse ancestors despite their warlike ways. But she can't believe her eyes when a blow to the head transports her to a nightmarish battlefield where she must save the barbarian of her dreams.

As tall and striking as the Valkyries of legend, Dr. Rain Jordan was proud of her Norse ancestors despite their warlike ways. But she couldn't believe her eyes when a blow to the head transported her to a nightmarish battlefield and she had to save the barbarian of her dreams. He was a wild-eyed berserker whose deadly sword could slay a dozen Saxons with a single swing, yet Selik couldn't control the saucy wench from the future. He considered Rain a prisoner and he longed to avail himself of her medical skills-and her considerable knowledge of the male anatomy-but the infuriating woman had ideas of her own. If Selik wasn't careful, the stunning siren was sure to capture his heart and make a warrior of love out of`The Outlaw Viking.
