Kate White's deliciously titillating new novel, "Over Her Dead Body," is about the murder of Mona Hodges, the dictatorial editor of "Buzz," a weekly celebrity gossip magazine. White's heroine, Bailey Weggins, has just joined the "Buzz" staff. Since her beat is celebrity crime, Bailey is assigned to cover this sensational story. Not content merely to report the facts, she decides to do some sleuthing on her own. Much to her chagrin, Bailey finds that the list of people who might have killed Mona could easily fill a small telephone book. Mona insulted almost everyone she knew, and many individuals would have profited from her death.
Such a good book, would be great for summer read. I have 2 small kids and every moment I got to read a page I did. She is a great writer, I have read 2 of her books so far and just found out this morning that a new one has jsut arrived at the bookstore!! You will not be sorry you requested this book.
This was my first and unfortunately my last Bailey Weggins book. It took 374 pgs of twists and turns and some confusion to find out who did it and the love interest was handled in a way I really didn't care for. OK maybe I'm just not the right age or geographic location for this type of story.
Good book. A little slow at times but overall kept my interest until the end.
This was a thrilling, exciting book. The author kept you guessing until the very end.
Another winner from Kate White!! I absolutely love the Bailey Weggins series.
I love all of the Bailey Weggins books. This is a good one, kept me guessing. This is Book 4 of the Series.
My first murder mystery book. I rather enjoyed it. The book keeps you guessing who did it. It seams everyone had a chance and a reason but you never really know who. Also a nice little sub-plot with the b/f
As always, lots of fun to either read or listen to! This was a great one to pass the time while traveling by car!
I enjoyed listening to this book, kept me amused as I rode to work. Especially liked Lea Thompson job as the reader. I remember her from Caroline in the City and always liked her.
A Bailey Weggins mystery. Fourth in the series.
