A beautifully written book. I could really empathize with Laurie as she struggled with the realization that her daughter may have been involved in the death of another fourteen year old girl, and her confusion and her hurt as the people she thought she could most rely on turn against her as suspicions mount. I highly recommend this book. For those who are wary of "religious" or "Christian" books, fear not. The faith in this book is like the bass line of a song, providing support and rhythm, while the story and characters stand out like a lead guitar. It makes you feel good, not preached at.
