This is an excellent book but it scares me to think that our nation's high schools have gotten so competitive. Robbins pulls you in to the lives of several teenagers in their junior and senior years. You get attached right away to Julie, Audrey, Sam, Taylor and AP Frank. I didn't study enough in high school, but I'm glad I wasn't on this end of the spectrum.

Excellent book. As a mom I found comfort in knowing that by not pushing my kids to overachieve I would be doing more for them than by pushing them to overachieve. Very eye opening. A good read.
