From the back of the book:
"People have often been told to deny or supress the dark and undesirable side of their personalities. The result says psychiatrist Dwight L Carlson, is the 'emotionally crippled' personality that is the most vulnerable of all. In this enlightening book, Dr Carlson helps you to identify and cope with your feelings of hurt and anger, and clearly shows that you can be happy, whole, and human!"

Hurt and anger are two very powerful emotions that can have devestating effects on our lives and those around us. Sometimes we dont' even realize that the horrible overwhelming feelings we struggle with come from these two emotions.
This books helps you look into God's answers on how to deal with these, how not to, and what steps to take not only personally but in our relationships.
This book is a great eye opener and helps to have actual ways to have victory over these. I liked it also because it shows you these by God's Word.
