Do all of you know that Overstock sells books - some at great prices and with 2.95 shipping on the entire order? Or am I the last to figure this out? (I also posted this in Hidden Gems forum).

I haven't checked out their book selection yet but I did buy sheets for our bed from them a couple of weeks ago.  Not too shabby on the shipping speed :)

I didn't know that.

But I need more books like I need a hole in my head. And yet...

Another good site, with respect to shipping prices, is BookCloseouts. I think it's selection is better too. Plus, there's price war at online new-book sites right now.

I think Walmart started it, and Target and AZN have gotten in on the action. So, if you're looking for something new, it pays to shop around.

I did really well at Bookcloseouts last time too, got 7 books for about $30.00.   Most were hardcovers from the scratch and dent sale and I thought they still looked great.  I din't know about Overstocks.com.  Thanks for the tip (I think)!

Thanks for the tip about Overstocks.  Maybe I'll get lucky, they won't have much, and then I won't blow my budget!
