You've actually already done the correct thing, which is to contact your PO and have them trace/rattle some cages enroute.

Other than that, the only other option is to wait and see if it goes lost or USPS gets the package moving again.  It can happen, we saw one in a swap game just sit for several weeks then mysteriously start moving again and arrived just a day or two before the lost date!

Do not cancel, if you do and the package turns up later...the requestor has no way of marking it received.  Just let the system mark it lost in it's own time.  If you like, you can contact the other member and let her know you have contacted your PO regarding the apparent delay in Mempis.  They will probably appreciate the information and your efforts to get the package safely delivered.

Excellent start Jennifer, and not much more to do unless/untill the package actually goes 'lost'.   Have there been summer storms in Memphis?  Sometimes there's mail delays in weather stressed areas.

Has the package been scanned repeatedly in TN to show it isn't moving, or are you assuming it isn't moving because there hasn't been addtional scans? The package could well be moving along its route, its route just doesn't pass through any sorting centers that scan packages.  There are a few of the bigger sorting centers that take a while for media mail to leave, I wouldn't count the package lost just yet.

Like Melanie said, Memphis is just the last place it was scanned.  Doesn't mean it is still there.
