Hi Della,

I think it is safe. Although others may have a different view.

When I have wanted to buy credits through paypal, the person sends me their paypal linked email address.

I then go into my Paypal, and click on send money. Prompts me to put in persons email address which I do, then choose amount, etc and send. Done.

When the person receives the funds on the other end, they promptly buddy me the credits ordered.

I have never had a problem, I like to think that everyone here at PBS is honest and AWESOME, so I don't really sweat it. =)

Not sure if I helped? lol =)

Good Luck!

ETA: I am not certain in regards to this part here, but I am fairly certain that PayPal will take out their fee percentage for using service from funds received, so may want to keep that in mind. I know they do it with Ebay transactions, I am sure they do it with everything. But I can not say for certain, never have any credits to sell, lol!

I could be wrong here but I think if a buyer transfers money from their bank account through Paypal and the seller only has a personal Paypal account, there is no fee. But if the seller has a Paypal business account or the buyer is paying from a credit card listed on their Paypal account, there is a fee to the seller.

That is how it used to be in the old days anyway. I have a business account so I'm used to the fees. *sigh*

LOL me too Collette. I am charged fees on everything so I am uncertain if there is another way... I do remember it being that way in "old days" but I wasn't sure about now, being that they want to charge you for everything anymore. *sigh*

I have a personal account and don't get charged for transfers from one account to another to buy credits...if that helps.

If your account is Personal, you won't get charged a fee for a Paypal balance transfer but if somebody tries to send you money using a Credit Card, you would be charged a fee (which is higher than a Business Account fee). Also, if you still have a limit, you can only accept up to 5 credit card "payments" in a year before you need to upgrade, I think. There is usually a monthly limit to Personal accounts as to the total amount you can receive per month. My sister's for example is $500. Now, money sent under "Others" (you know, among the 4 options you choose when sending) DOES NOT count toward your limit. So, if you have a LOT of credits to sell, you'll need to mind your limit. :)

If however, you have a Business Account, yeah, Collette and Misty are right. You will be charged fees NO MATTER WHAT! LOL! :)

I hope this helps. 2 of my sisters have accounts, one Personal and one Business and I handle both! LOL! :)

And I agree with Misty. People here at PBS are truly among the most wonderful people I've ever met. AMAZING!

Oh, also, if you have a Personal account and somebody tries to send you money using a Credit Card, you will be given an option to Accept or Deny. :) When you Accept, you will be charged a fee. I think you will get all sorts of notifications and explanations from Paypal anyway. :)
