My sister's co-worker is saving up donations for the troops.  It's called "A Militrary Christmas in July" but she assured me, we can still send out august and September. If interested in helping please message me and I'll give you either the office address or hers.

There is a whole lot of other stuff on the flier too. I couldn't figure how to put  a picture of the flyer up on here so it's located here:

Carol, they give out items like beanie babies and candy bars to the local children. It helps to foster good relations with the local people.

Oh, the kids!  Now that makes sense!  I guess Beanie Babies are pretty much universal ~ Great idea!

Hey guys,

I just talked to my sister and her co-worker is sending everything out at the end of this week.

But,  If you still want to send stuff there are alot of other threads right now for pb donations for soldiers.  A girl named Jessica is running one on here right now.

I wish I would have been notified sooner about the donations, then we would have had time to collect everything.

Anyways my box of books and cd's are going out along with a huge box of the items described above tomorrow.  My mom went to the 99 cents store and spent $100 on all the items they needed.  That was so sweet of her.  I would do that but I'm broke, so I just donated anything I had.

Thanks again everybody.
