Just wondering if it helps the site going through that rather than opening a separate window and going directly to Amazon or wherever ourselves.  :)

From the Help Center:

Why use Buy it New?

  • Get a book if the Wish List is long and you just can't wait to read it!

  • Support PBS: a tiny amount of your purchase price will go to PBS, to help support the site.

    • We are talking really tiny, but hey!  every little bit helps.

Our PTO has am Amazon link, and we get 4% of every purchase. We've made $5 so far, and we've only had a few people use it, so I think it can add up to quite a lot. Not sure if that is the % they get here, but that's what we get.
