I check in from time to time, just to see if there is anything new. I've been genre jumping for the past few months and didn't make it back around to my chic lit until a few weeks ago when I read Something Borrowed and Something Blue, which I loved by the way. It hasn't been very busy over here.

I jump around a lot too but do read a chick-lit book every 7th book.  Yeah, I have a reading system. lol I'm a geek, what can I say? :)

I would like to post here more since its not quite so busy as the general forum. I will if everyone else will! :)

It was pretty active here for a while, but things have slowed down. I don't know where everyone went. I stopped coming in here because there was nothing new to see.

I know! For awhile I couldn't keep a chick lit book on my shelf  and now there are some that have been sitting there for months.Maybe the chick lit phase is dying out.I mean you can only read so much about New York city career girls and MANY seem to be about teh same thing:(

I don't think the chick lit phase is dying out. I believe it is as strong as it has been and is continuing to grow. They are making lots of chick lit books into movies now too which generates more interest in the chick lit genre.

I have noticed for quite some time now that this discussion board is rather slow. I have started many topics as well as a book discussion to revive this forum but not many people seem to post much on them. I really wish there would be more activity in here. :)

Right??  I was just thinking that the other day as I was reading another book set in New York City.  I've been to NYC three times in my life, but I've read so much about it I feel like you could plop me down in the middle of the city and I could point out the hot restaurants, the latest bar, and just about every magazine/publishing house in the city (since that's where the characters always seem to work).
