I was not paying attention and printed postage here, but the weight was too low, so the postage is under the correct amount.  Can I add stamps to the prepinted PBS label to make up the difference and drop it in a blue box?

1.  Package weight over 13 oz, (but that should be ok because has printed postabe and delivery confirm?)

2.  I have stamps that can make up difference - very difficult for me to get to post office but if I have to I will.

Anyone know if just adding the stamps is ok or not?

Thanks,

M.E.

Yes you can add stamps to make up the difference and still put it in the blue box because they can still track you by the printed postage. I've done this before because I almost always forget to include a freebie into the weight and it's always on the rare occassional that I use the printed postage.

I asked a similar question recently, and the reply was that as long as there is some printed postage on the book, it can be combined with "regular" stamps and dropped into a blue box, regardless of the weight.

Thanks so much!  And for replying so fast!   I don't know where my brain was, and I was flustered as I'm trying to run out the door now and hoped to mail.

I appreciate it!

Thank you for asking this!  I was actually just logging on to ask the same question.  Thanks - I'm off to the PO.
