I was wondering if I could use Google type search engine switches in the PBS search engine. Like "weird Michigan" would search for the whole string "weird michigan" in that order. +weird +michigan -engine would search for a title containing "weird", "michigan" but NOT "engine".

Is there a primer on using the PBS search engine?

Thanks.

I don't believe that this search engine supports operators like the google search engine.  There is a section in the help center that gives an overview on how it works.  Go to Help Center -> Browse Help Docs -> Using PBS Features -> The PBS Search Engine.

Chuck,

If you use the Advanced Search feature you have more search options there.
