I know it's against PBS guidelines to post individual comics comics. So, I haven't. I've limited my postings to graphic novels and manga. However, I have approximately 10,000 comic books that I really need to get rid of. As you can probably imagine, they take up an incredible amount of room.

Does anyone know a site similar to PBS that will allow me to post them?

I haven't seen a site like this just for comics, would like to I have over 4,000. You can post the bigger ones that have an ISBN number, Marvel has several of their square bound ones have a number. You can see some on my shelf fo the types.

I've just been posting them to comic book forums. You could use some as a bonus for ordering so many books off your book self.

If you need any more info please PM me.

That's a good thought. In fact, I have posted the ones with ISBNs. Some of them have traded very well. I might eventually post all of them that are not saddle stitched.

As to posting them to the forum, I might do that eventually as well. I seem to remember trading some Batman with someone a year or so ago. Batman was not one of the titles that I collected when I was younger, so I had very few of them. I have more of other titles.

I might also post them on eBay once I get them sorted and listed. I've sold some in the past and they sell very well. I just don't particularly care for the bother of collecting money owed and such. Too much trouble.

I had hoped to find a place where I could just post them and forget them until I get a request like I do with the books on here. Unfortunately, I don't think there is such a place. If there was, someone would have mentioned it by now.

If you find a place, would you please post it here?  Most of my single issues are things I want to keep, but I have plenty I'd love to trade.  I find that I re-read comics less often than books because they're harder to browse through.  They are stored in a pretty browsable format (basically like in a comic book store, with little tabs that stick up with the titles), but somehow I just don't think of them as much.

You can offer unpostables for credits here at PBS as long as both parties realize that the comics offered are unpostables, and that the swap would be "unofficial" - not on PBS books, like the Book Bazaar deals...

The more I think of it a site that does just comics might not work out. Different people grade the books different, and it would be a mess. If you're giving lets say 5 points to a book you think is in Near Mint to find out it was in only fine condition. At least here you can just post tell about the book(s) and how many points and it won't be an automatic thing.

I'm thinking about putting some of my mini-series or a 4 issue runs up for a point each for them 2 pts for the longer minis. And the square bound books that don't have the ISBN, I have several DC for some reason they don't put a ISBN number on them, and there's no advertising in them so they qualify for media mail. Which reminds me some post offices like mine won't allow me to send comics with ads in them by media mail, they have to go by parcel post which costs in some cases double that of the media mail.

Jenny S.: Let me know if there is any certain series you're looking for. I'm currently looking to switch over my single issues to the hard back comic collections. I'm finding for me the collected comic books are easier than the single issues to read.

I may post some here if I get the chance. Is there anything that anyone is looking for? Most of my comics date back to at least the 80s. A few from the 90s and 70s mixed in. If you have any wants, let me know and I'll look for them as I'm going through the comics.
