This is classic Heinlein - great read! I first read this when I was in high school, and have read it again and again!

Annotation (from B&N)
While accompanying their uncle, a wily politician, on a trip from Mars to Earth, Podkayne and her brilliant but pesky younger brother are caught up in a plot to keep Uncle Tom from an important conference.

Publishers Weekly
A girl raised on Mars travels back to Earth in Heinlein's vintage SF tale, first published in 1963.

Library Journal
This 1963 sf adventure with a female protagonist features Podkayne Fries, who just wants to be a starship pilot. Her family's power, however, makes her a political target.

A true classic from RAH, written as a "juvenile" book but is a good read for anyone.

Juvenile fiction by Robert A. Heinlein, "the father of science fiction". This is the story of a teenage girl who is plagued by her genius little brother. Quite amusing.
