This time he was financing his way by writing and cartooning for the Minneapolis Star Journal and "hashing" at the Phi Delta Theta Frat house. In addition to his regular duties St. George found time to engage in various violent sports. He concetrated on hockey, which accounts for the irrgularities of his profile. He plays basketball in a manner that would make "Strangler" Lewis shudder. And his favorite course during our Army training was Unarmed Combat.« less
