Is there any way I can track this down and get it back? All the DC# tells me is that the package was delivered to some town in PA. I am in NY so obviously there has been an error, either with the shipper's address label or by the post office. This is not a PBS package but an expensive item I ordered online and I'm not too happy about this. Can my post office help me or am I going to be better off going directly to the seller with the problem?

Start with the sender, is it possible they gave you an incorrect DC?  Say a different customer in PA?  They can also check with USPS from their end.

If they are positive that is your DC#, yes you can take it to your PO and have them inquire...may not get your package returned, but at least USPS can correct their delivery problems.

You've probably handled this.  I would throw the entire problem in the hands of the shipper.  Let them figure it out.  And as they work it out they should be sending you a replacement.
