I can't get Pride and Prejudice and Zombies at the library or on here any time soon  -- I'm something like 719 out of 750 on the WL line. I saw it at Wal-Mart for $9 but didn't have any money to buy it. It isn't currently available on the PBS market. Is there a way to be offered books off my wishlist from the PaperBack Swap Market or to be notified when a certain book is available for sale?

It should send you an email. Every time one of my books is available in the market place I get at least one email about it.

Yes, just having it on your Wish List here will trigger a notification when/if it becomes available in the PBS market.

I think you can also sort it to put the marketplace books towards the top.

Also the long WL lines sometimes move pretty quickly.  So it might take as long as you think.

Do I have to "opt in" to those emails or will I automatically receive them?

I just ordered my first book from the market last week or so. I know I had added Time of My Life to my wish list but I don't recall getting an email about it (not to say that I absolutely didn't but I don't remember getting one.) Then when I was looking at the book listing for some reason and it had an "order from PBS market" button on the page that I had never seen before. I decided to click on it and lo and behold I got the book for $2.09 plus one credit etc. so it was $6.09 (or I will it's scheduled to arrive tomorrow). So I sort of stumbled upon the fact I could buy it from PBS market.

"So it might take as long as you think." = I certainly hope not, Mary! LOL

If you log onto the main PBS page (NOT your account page) up at the top left it will tell you if any of the books you're wishing for are available in the market.  I find it comes in waves - either there will be none, or there will be half a dozen. :) (I got four last week!)

OK that was suppose to say that it might NOT take as long as you think. Some of those long lines move up 50+ places a week and so the line is constantly moving.  They can often come much quicker than an older book with only a few wishers but that's hard to find.
