Ok, my favorites are my paranormal series... but in between when the next books get released, I just sit and wait.... I know there are many series out there I have not read yet, but need to know which ones are worth it. Anybody have a favorite series that I should try... I already read Laurell K Hamilton, Jim Butcher, Kim Harrison, Lynsay Sands, MaryJanice Davidson, J.R. Ward, Rachel Caine, Stephenie Meyer, Katie MacAlister's vampire series, and Charlaine Harris... Thanks for your help :) |

I highly recommend Kelley Armstrong's Women of the Otherworld series starting with Bitten. I've only read the first two books but I love this series so far. Another one I just started and really enjoyed was Patricia Briggs Mercy Thompson series starting with Moon Called. You might also want to check out the Paranormal Forum. There is a sticky thread there with tons of series listed. Lucky for us, there are many out there to keep us busy. Last Edited on: 5/3/08 6:23 PM ET - Total times edited: 1 |

I agree with Leticia. Go to Paranormal and check out all the wonderful
series they have listed.

I enjoyed Cherry Adair's Edge Series. Each of the brothers has a different paranormal ability. There's a love interest in each of them too. |

I like... Patricia Brigg's Mercy Thompson series Kim Harrison's "Hollows" series, starting with "Dead Witch Walking" Rachel Vincent's "werecat" series (so far 2 in this series, "Stray" and "Rogue" just came out) Lilith Saintcrow's "Dante Valentine" series, starting with "Working For the Devil" Kelley Armstrong, Yasmine Galenorn and Jennifer Armintrout are also worth checking out. |

I just picked up a book by Allan Cole, Wolves of the Gods. I ordered No. 1. I hope I like them. I also like Robert Jordan. |

I recommend Simon R. Green's Nightside series. This is actually my first foray in the paranormal genre, and I've been hesitant to read anyone else because I've liked the Nightside books so much, that I can only imagine that I'll be disappointed. I love the pace and Green's writing style. Though, I have the first Dresden Files book on my TBR list, and will be reading that very soon. |

I agree with Kim Harrison's "Hollows" series and Kelley Armstrong's "Women of the Otherworld" (though the first, "Bitten," is outstanding, where the next two are more average). |

I love Karen Marie Moning's Highlander series (druid/fairy) and her Fae series. I recommend reading the Highlander series first. Also Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark Hunter series, but I like the Moning series better. Last Edited on: 5/6/08 1:05 AM ET - Total times edited: 1 |

we like a lot of the same authors :) I would also highly recommend Sherrilyn Kenyon's Dark-Hunter series and Karen Marie Moning's Highlanders. I've also been enjoying Kresley Cole's Immortals After Dark Series - but liked the 2nd and 3rd books much more than the 1st one in the series. Have you tried Katie McAlistar's Dragon books? They're hysterical! I loved them :) |
