Beverly Lewis is an author who never disappoints. She always has a unique story line - not just your standard love story -- this book has several interwoven plots and well-developed characters. I always learn something new about the Amish culture from her books. Can't wait for the next book in this series.

If you haven't read this one from Beverly Lewis you are missing out. Once I got started on this one I could not put it down! There is always a secret involved that makes you wonder what will happen next. Her characters always have a major decision to make in their lives. Highly recommended!

I absolutly LOVED this book. I picked it up for something to occupy my time on a plane ride home but I never anticipated to get hooked. Now I HAVE to read the second book. READER BEWARE: Extremely addictive!

This story revolves around Nellie, a young girl that is struggling with the death of her sister and trying to get on with her life with a new love. Caleb, who strongly wants to keep the old ways of the Amish is courting Nellie at a time when some in the community are questioning traditions of their faith and lifestyle. While talk of tractors and other controversies swirl around this Amish community in the 1960s, Nellie and Caleb’s families are at odds. What will happen to Nellie and Caleb? I look forward to reading the other books in the series to find out.
