I love, love, love the Mercy Thompson books by Patricia Briggs.  Does anybody know of another author similar to her work?  I have read MANY paranormals, so I know all about JR Ward, Kresley Cole, Lara Adrian, etc.  Is there anyone else that writes about werewolves with this incredible style?

Have you read Kelley Armstrong?  That's the 1st one that comes to mind.  I love Patricia Briggs books too she is my favorite author (as of right now)...but it's hard to come up with someone who has the same style.  She is kind of unique in my eyes!  Keri Arthurs Riley books...not the same style but they have werewolves & they are very good...but very sexual.  I think Jennifer Rardin's writing style is more similar to P Briggs than the other's I've mentioned but her book is about vampires.

I just discovered the Mercy books a little bit ago. I have them all on my wishlist and keep looking at the UBS for them - I don't know how I missed them since they seem to be so popular. I have an FOL sale coming up on Friday and if I don't find them there I might just break down and buy them new with a gift card I have from B&N! :)

I'm anxious to start them!

I love Patricia Briggs.  There aren't too many that equal her.  the Kitty series is about werewolves -- Kitty and the midnight hour, etc.  they are good, I just finished the the first 4 in the Keri Arthur series ( in fact I think the first two are on my shelf) and they are good, but have more sex scenes like Marie said.

While I like the Carrie Vaughn books, they don't even compare to Patricia Briggs!

"Fur Factor" by Christine Warren is part of her Other Series and really good.  I love all the Other books.  This is part of her earlier books that are only available in e-book format.  She is re-writing them for print, but I don't know how long it would take.

I have all Patricia Briggs Mercy books and am now on the WL for her "Preying for Mercy" which is a compilation of all 3 of her books to date in HC.

Reading:  Darkness Everlasting by Alexandra Ivy

Just finished:  Damian by Jacquelyn Frank

In the mail:  Cry Wolf by Patricia Briggs

I was told to read these because I like the Kitty series so thats my suggestion too. I havent read the Briggs books yet but I have the first one. I'll possibly start it soon. Right now Im reading Moonshine the second of the Brothers Leandros series by Rob Thurman.  I love these probably because Niko reminds me of my friend Cory. We even call Cory things like neo ninja.
