I'm looking for someone willing to LEND me four books by Patricia Briggs.  I just want to read them; I can provide references (although if you don't know the people, I'm not sure what good they would be).  I take good care of books, I will return them promptly.  I usually don't have lots of credits to purchase/repost AND I can't seem to find these books available for purchase on this site.  So, if anyone has these books and is willing to lend them to me (postage to me will be reimbursed), please let me know.

Apparently I haven't mastered how to use this site; my apologies for the multiple postings.  I am looking for BLOOD BOUND, MOON CALLED, IRON KISSED, and BONE CROSSED.  Thank you.

Bone Crossed hasn't been released yet -- it won't be out until 2009.

I don't have any of these books, but I'd start by putting them on my wishlist here (I checked, and you don't seem to have any of them on your wishlist).  This series appears to be fairly recent, so there aren't copies of them currently posted in the system, but if you put them on your wishlist they might make their way to you sooner or later.

I did a search for Patricia Briggs.  The link should bring up all of her books with wishers, so you can add them to your own list.

Might be a silly questions but have you looked at your local library?  I know mine has them, if your library does Interlibrary loans then you should be able to borrow them from Monterey Country Free Libraries.

I second the Inter Library Loan idea.  I just started to use it at my local library for books whose lines are either really long or slow moving (or both).   I think most libraries offer that service.

Some libraries charge patrons for the use of Inter library loans and other do not.  I know if they borrow form my library (IE where I work) they will not charge and we have the books..LOL

Yeah its a great way to get books in a series that might be WL on here and take forever.

The charges is based on the type of deliveries. There's some that they routinely deliver since it's on the way or etc. And there's some that's out of the way that they usually send by postage.

So the charges you paid is usually the postage cost.

Greg- it really depends on the library.  Mine charges patrons $1 to make a request but does not charge anything for another library to borrow the books.  Some libraries charge $10 to borrow things since the theory is if you pay for it, you will take better care of it.  And yes some charge for postage and others dont. :0)
