Paul Raeburn (born November 26, 1950) is the author of Acquainted with the Night, a memoir of raising children with depression and bipolar disorder. He has been the science editor and a senior writer at Business Week, and the science editor and chief science correspondent of The Associated Press. He is also the organizer of the New Horizons in Science briefing sponsored by the Council for the Advancement of Science Writing (CASW).

Raeburn is a past president of the National Association of Science Writers and a recipient of its Science-in-Society Award.
A native of Detroit, Raeburn now lives and works in New York City with his wife, the writer Elizabeth DeVita-Raeburn and his son, Henry.
