Hi all,

I Know this probably would be better discussed in one of the other forums, but since it's actually about buying and selling credits, I wanted to put it here to get feedback from the people actually doing it. I've been using PayPal Gift process to pay for credits for quite a while now. Tonight, for the first time, I could not use my bank account, and they forced me to pay a fee.

Is this another new change?

Is there any way to pay for credits without incurring a fee?

Is PayPal more expensive than other options? I think I did an Amazon gift card once...but if PayPal is charging now, they probably will be too, soon.

What has your experience been?

Robin

Robin, that happened to me once and I contacted Paypal about it. The reason was that my credit card to back up my bank acct had gone past the expiration date and had to be updated. Once I did that, my Paypal acct was fine and I could use my bank acct for instant transfer. I had received my new credit card earlier but didn't realize I had to update on PP.

Paypal has always charged a fee when using a credit card to send funds. However sending funds directly from your paypal account or bank account are always free.

When purchasing credits via Amazon gift ecard there are no fees for neither the buyer or receiver.

I like Amazon Payments. Works just like Paypal, except it doesn't have fees!

Thanks Everybody! I can't figure out the logic of "freezing" my bank account, because my credit card expired, but I'll check that out.
