This is a lively, brightly colored picture-book about a bunch of penguins playing and frolicking. The illustrations are cartoon-like, with eye-popping colors. The action is happy and joyful. The penguins play in the snow, sledding and then jumping into the water for a nice swim (which of course, penguins love to do.)

Pretty soon a little lost seal-pup comes along, and the penguins quickly engage him in their games. Suddenly, the seal-pup's mother appears and thanks the penguins for their kindness in caring for her offspring.

Then it's time to cuddle up with their families as night draws in, with the moon appearing in the sky.

The rhyming text is simple and engaging. Just a fun story, perfect for bedtime reading.
