I was suspicious when I realized this was not written by Gardner. But the suspicions were not necessary. Chastain does a wonderful job of keeping the feel of Gardner's characters and style and a plot worthy of Mason.

I very much enjoyed the book and look forward to reading more Mason's--by either author!

In true Perry Mason style Thomas Chastain has captured all the better parts of Erle Stanley Gardners most loved character. I read this in two days....had trouble putting it down to go to work or to bed at night.
