I saw and ad for these in the coupon section of the paper..I remember nearly 40 years ago getting one of these paperbacks and loving it because my name and address was in it...I'm debating getting one or two for my friend's baby - he'll be 2 in February so probably a bit young yet but just wondering if these are still fun for kids? this place seemed a bit pricey - $12 or so plus shipping - but I thought about shopping around. I remember mine was about an alligator that came to visit!

My little brother has one that he loves.  Someday we will take it away from him and put it in his memory box.  I definately think they are a good investment.

do you think nearly 2 is too young? I'm wondering if I should wait but I guess his mom could read it to him then put it out on his bokshelf(he's a bit rough with books - most of his favorite board books have duct tape for the binding!)
