I have never read any of her books as I am just starting to get interested in historical fiction...a friend of mine recommended The Other Boleyn Girl...my question is--are Gregory's books considered a series?  Do you need to read them in some sort of order?  Or are SOME of them a series & some not?  I went to Gregory's website & it doesn't say.  Probably an ignorant question, but like I said newbie to this genre :)

Thanks for any clarification!

She has some series, but I'm not sure about The Other Boleyn Girl. If you're interested in it, I think it'll read as a stand-alone even if it isn't.

The one series I do know about is Wideacre, which begins with a book by the same title. This is followed by Meridon and The Favored Child.

Technically there is a chronological order to a bunch of her books...I didn't read them in historical order and I wasn't confused at all. They weren't released in historical order either so whatever you choose to read first, you should be ok.

You should be fine reading those particular ones out of order.  I too started with The Other Boleyn Girl followed by the Queen's Fool, The Constant Princess, and The Boleyn Inheritance and there is nothing in there that you really won't get because you have yet to read the others.  Hope you enjoy it.  I really liked Other Boleyn Girl.

I found on her site that she wrote the books out of order. In historical order, she states, her books go:

1, The Constant Princess (Katherine of Aragon)

2. The Other Bolyn Girl (Anne Boleyn)

3. The Boleyn Inheritance (Anne of Cleves and Katherine Howard)

4. The Queen's Fool (Mary Tudor and Elizabeth I)

5. The Virgin's Lover (Elizabeth I)

6. The Other Queen (Mary Queen of Scots)

Thank you to all that have taken the time to respond, this has helped me out tremendously!  Maureen, I didn't even think to look under FAQ to find the "order".  Thanks!

Besides the new one coming out I still need to read Constant Princess. I think its ok to read it out of order.

I was bored so I looked around on her site and stumbled across her comment about the order.
