After getting on the list late for this one, I thought screw it and went out and bought it new today. With the B&N member discount, plus a 10% coupon, plus the fact that the book is currently on sale there, I ended up paying $14 and some change for the book.

Anyone else out there can't wait for this book?

Jennifer,

I am looking forward to reading it, too.

Let me know what you think!

I'm about 90 pages into the book now. :-) And so far, I am really liking it. If it keeps up being this good, it will be a keeper book for me.

I like the historical facts she weaves into the story (not boring at all!) and I love her prose style. It has a bit of a "The Secret Garden" feel to it toward the beginning, and I love that too. Definitely worth checking out, Jaime.

I've progressed a little bit more. I think I'm about 200 pages into it now. I got sidetracked with review books and a Vicki Pettersson that wanted to be read. :-)

I really liked it. It was a little "lighter" than I expected, but thoroughly enjoyable.

I finished it last night. :-) I have a question for someone who finished it, so if someone will PM me? I'd rather not post spoilers here.

I was window shopping at B&N today; this is definately now on my list of WANTS.  That and about 60 others I saw....This must be a big time of the year for new realeases....

I bought this book the day it came out, I hadn't even heard of it but needed something to read.  I actually liked it, the story was pretty good and i liked the fact that she added real facts in the book too.  I however didn't keep it I wanted to make sure someone else got to read it so I posted it on here.

I listened to it in audio from my library. It was....not as good as all the hype would have had me believe it would be. It was certainly an interesting story and gave me some things to think about, but in other ways...hard to explain without giving away spoilers, so I won't. LOL But I gave it a B- for a grade and was certainly glad I did NOT rush out to buy it! ;)

I am currently 400 out of 652 on the wish list. It says I should have it in 37 weeks, lol. I had seen it at B&N when it came out, it looked good, but not enough for me to spend the money on it. I rarely buy new hardbacks.
