This is part of a series of simplified autobiographies for interested elementary school students, say 3rd grade, but very useful for 5th graders who are just getting their reading skills together.
Do not miss the 'Author Notes' at the back. While the highlights of DDE's long career are mentioned, it is odd to me that there is nothing about his transcontinental trip of 1919 or his Gettysburg farm.
The bibliography is odd in that it lists full scale biographies rather than other DDE material published for elementary school students or YA readers.
There are no page numbers and so index. There are websites listed.
