We are adopting... Ye hA! We are wanting to gather picture books for a collection. Which ones are "must haves"? Which ones are "lame"? We have "Shaoey and Dot" by Steven Curtis Chapman but that's it. What do you recommend? THANKS!

I was going to recommend A Mother for Choco.  It is a really cute story that my son had when he was little (not adopted, but he loved it).  I posted it here and it was snapped up quickly.
