Hilarious tale of Inspector Clouseau on assignment in Las Vegas to track down the Baby Pink diamond and apprehend it's thieves. He also solves a kidnapping, brings casino thieves to justice, finds a stolen da Vinci painting, and gets to meet celebrities and have fun in various unbelievable disguises, showing his Gallic wit all the way! It kept me laughing!

This book reads with the exact same type of slapstick comedy of the original movie. Unfortunately, the sight gags don't translate well on the page, and I gave up barely 40 pages in .... Save yourself the time ... rent the movie!!

Pretty good story. It filled a couple of afternoons. I kept picturing Peter Sellers as Clouseau.
