So lately I have been obsessed with books about pirates/buccaneers/privateers. I really like books that are full of adventure, and I actually prefer when they are unrealistic!!!! I loved Lovesong, Windsong, and Nightsong by Valerie Sherwood, so something along those lines would be great!!! Older bodice-ripper type book recommendations are welcome!!

I remember Passion's Ransome by Bettina Krahn as being fun and a bit bodice-rippery.

I liked Pirates by Linda Lael Miller- it has a time-travel element to it.

Gentle Rogue by Johanna Lindsey has a "retired" pirate as a main character.

I love these type of books.  Here are some of my favorites.

Marsha Canham:

Across the Moonlit Sea (part one of series)

The Iron Rose (part two of series)

The Wind and The Sea (this one is hard to find)

The Windflower by Sharon Curtis (hard to find, but I loved it)

Once a Pirate by Susan Grant ( a wonderful time-travel)

The Perils of the Heart by Jennifer Ashley (not a pirate but, it is on the high seas)

A Pirate of Her Own and Master of Seduction by Kinley MacGregor

Charm School by Susan Wiggs (not  a pirate but, very good)

I have a book called Pirate's bride by Katherine Stone I believe but I havn't read it yet, anyway it's got Quintana Teach in it which us pirate lovers may remember to be Blackbeard's daughter.
