I hear you!  I have so many favorite authors and then find new ones but never manage to get the first in the series so I have to get those before I start reading!  argh!

LeAnne, at least it is not drugs!  Well, maybe books (to people like us) are kind of a drug........but ate least we won't get arrested for it!  Well, unless it leads us to shoplift to get our fix!

How true!  Just when I think I'm ready to tackle my already huge TBR pile, someone mentions a new series or author that I just have to try :)

No kidding!  My TBR is at 515, I have 6 on the way from PBS, and 89 more on the way from eBay!  It is out of control!

Glad I'm not the only addict!!!  Joined thinking I could clear out some of my books and get some for my dh...he is partially disabled (old hip injury and severe arthritis), so poking around used book stores is not really an option any more...too hard for him to walk very far.  So, I start ordering books that he would like, trying to complete series that he had started and so on.  Was giving them to him as they arrived, then started stockpiling them for birthday and Christmas.  I was still getting my books from the library.  Then, decided "well, heck...I'm the one wrapping all the books, taking them to the po, etc., so might as well get something for me".  You know, a book here and there that looked interesting.  You know the rest....!!!!!  But, it is better than other options and a great cure for stress.  I am just going to have to start taking very good care of myself so that I will live long enough to read them all!! lol
