Bold, insightful, witty, and exhilarating. This novel about an extraordinary young woman looking for a place to belong is one of the most compelling and beloved voices in contemporary fiction. This could be the story of someone you know. Maybe your own??

This is entertaining, but a little disappointing. I would also prefer that the author keep her political opinions to herself, as it's not a political book, but a novel meant to entertain.
