We have been homeschooling for 2 years and my oldest was in 4th grade when we decided to make the switch out of public school, so naturally she is the one that feels a loss of social interaction.  I would love to find some outlet for her to chat with other homeschoolers her age so she won't feel so bad about being home all day. If anyone knows of a safe place for her to get to know some other kids please let me know.

thanks

angel

I know that Sonlight forums has an area that is moderated for kids to chat.  Club penguin also allows safe chat (that's moderated) for younger kids.  My son's 10 and still chats there with some friends.

I've noticed that Scholastic has chat rooms for kids. I have not check them out yet. See what you think. Do you check things yourself before letting them kids on?

Merry Christmas!
