It's late, so either this doesn't exist or I'm having a brain fart!  I was looking at my FABIL list, and it said I've rated 107 books.  I've only added 64 books to my BIR list though, so I'm wondering what all those other books I rated are.  Anyone know if there's a way to see this?

Well, FABIL might be one place that uses all your rankings!  But whenever you rate a book - be  sure to click on +BIR ( usually found under "other options" button).  That will make sure that you've got them added automatically.

I always do that now, but I guess a while back I just rated some without clicking +BIR.  I think it might drive me crazy not knowing what those other 43 books are, lol!

Well, those books will be marked with yellow stars and a red circle with a line through it which indicates that you rated it.  So when you come across one of those anywhere on the site you can check the +BIR and it will.  I don't think it adds it twice so you should be okay!

I thought rating it automatically added it to BIR.

I know I couldn't add to BIR without rating it.

That's what I thought too, Kayote.  Is that a newer feature?  I just can't figure out why I would have rated all of those books but not added them to my BIR list, so I was just wondering if there was a list of them somewhere.  I may go searching tomorrow, haha!  Oh well.  =)

No, I don't THINK it automatically adds it unless you click it.  I may go try one and see.

Just thought I'd update this and say I think I've figured it out!  =)  When you rate a book, it counts it even if you clear your rating later.  There were several duplicate books I rated and then cleared because I didn't want multiple versions on my BIR list, so even after I cleared the ratings, it still counts them on my FABIL page.  That accounts for the difference between my number of rated books and read books.  So just in case anyone else was curious...although I may be the only one who notices or cares!  =D

Thanks, Ashley!  Good to know.  But I don't clear my star ratings because the publishers put them out in different editions with different covers and so I mark everyone I see that I've read.  It helps cut down on my confusion.
