I loved this book! If you like a book that will make you smile, cheer or bring a tear to your eye, give this one a try. Beth Wiseman did a great job with this touching story that came alive with wonderful believable characters and the day to day life of the Amish. I was quickly swept into this engrossing and sweet Amish romance. Lillian was raised "English" after her mother left her Old Order Amish roots. She had made mistakes and had issues in her life and went to stay with her loving Amish grandparents to sort things out. It is there she meets a young widower--- Samuel and his son David. I am so glad that the author has more books due out in 2009! I am looking forward to reading them!

This is he first book I've read by this author and it won't be my last. She did an excellent job of describing how it must have been for someone from the outside to step into the Amish way of life even when it is their desire to do so.
