Private eye Spenser investigates a case of corruption at Taft University. The book is very well-written, fast-paced, action-packed, and replete with three-dimensional, realistic characters. Mr. Parker occasionally overdoes the detail of what people are wearing, or the decor of a building, but it does not bog down the story.
