Kim, a chick lit series that I have read and loved recently is the Evie series by Beth Ciotta. It starts with All About Evie. I highly recommend it!

Have you read any of Debbie Macomber's books?

Another author is Diane Mott Davidson.

Good luck!

What about Susan Elizabeth Phillips? I recently discovered her and devoured everything she's written. They're a little on the romancey side, but great. Also, have you read The Lady Julia Gray mysteries by Deanna Raybourn? I borrowed them from the library so often, I finally had to go out and by them. The first is Silent in the Grave.

I can't believe I forgot to tell you about Emily Giffin.  Her books are fun to read!  It doesn't matter what order you read them in.

I'm a big fan of Sophie Kinsella (at least until Shopaholic and Sister) and some of my other favs are:

Meg Cabot, Cecelia Ahern (Rosie Dunne, PS I love you), Olivia Goldsmith, Jane Green, Marian Keyes, Sarah Mason, Carole Matthews, Sarah Mlynowski, Elizabeth Noble, Carly Phillips (a little more on the romance track), Plum Sykes, Jennifer Weiner, Lauren Weisberger, Victoria Dahl (romancy too)

And if you are interested in Christian themed books, I recommend Anne Dayton & May Vanderbilt, Marilynn Griffith, Hope Lyda, Siri Mitchell, Trish Perry, Kristen Billerbeck, Rachel Hauck.

HAPPY READING!

Oh, I can't stand Jen Lancaster either.

I love Jennifer Weiner and Anita Shreve books.
