This pb has a math problem written on the inside front cover and the inside back cover. It's a mystery book, for goodness sake, why would someone do math on there? lol I got it at an FOL sale, so not my math. The title page and the text pages are just fine otherwise.

Sorry, I pushed the button too quick, before.

I think writing on the inside cover is ok.

eta: The conditions in the help section say no writing on the text pages, and I believe I've seen here in the forum someone post that it was ok to have some writing on the inside of the cover.

Overall Condition:

  • No damage at all from water or other liquid
  • Not soiled
  • No stains (exception for cookbooks--see below)
  • No mold
  • no highlighting, underlining or writing on text pages (exception for Textbooks/Workbooks and travel guidebooks --see below)

The inside front cover, inside back cover, and title page are allowed to have writing.  This is where dedications, autographs, library marks, and stamps from used bookstores usually show up.  These are not considered text pages.

That said, I'd never post a mystery where the resolution was noted there.   But math?  Sounds fine.

I wouldn't mind it if I got it. Although if it was in marker bleeding through, that's another story. I get the occasional initial inside a book with a little note like Great! or HEA! inside.
