Our own Rosey Posey.

Her hubby left this weekend on a 15 month deployment in Iraq. Please send her a hug or prayer or warm thought. You can PM here at this profile page. I'm sure she misses him already.

Thank you ALL for the thoughtful PMs, and especially thank you to Nina. :*)

I want to let you all know that I am doing fine. I am a little snippy today, but it's a process, and I am working through it.

I've been overwhelmed by the support offered here, and I am so glad to have found this place this past summer!

THANK YOU ALL!!

You may be snippy, but you are hilarious when you are snippy. If I had anything liquid in my mouth at the time I read your post about leeches on Craig's List and Freecycle - I would be buying a new keyboard. Here it is, Michelle getting a 'tude about people that are "desperate" for a free designer clothes, flat screen TVs, etc.

"Hi, my name is Michelle, and I am (well, I am a certain age lol), and I am currently wanting a breast lift, a tummy tuck, and some minor lipo. I can't afford this stuff because my husband is a non-commissioned officer in the US Army and they don't pay us enough for that sort of thing. Please donate to my cause. I want to look HOT when he comes home from Iraq.

I wonder if I'd get any response if I posted that?"

LOL Nina.

Where are you in Texas? Anywhere near Ft. Bliss or Ft. Hood?

Well, we are going to PCS (in English, move) within a year of redeployment (in English, when DH comes back from Iraq), and we haven't been to TX yet with the Army, so it is quite possible!

Nina you're in Killeen? Wow what a small world! I didn't even know that town existed until I got married and found out my DH has relatives there! We visited once several years ago but I have to say I wouldn't mind if his company transferred him there! I loved the place!! Stacey

Hey ladies! I just found this thread - hugs to you Michelle!! And thank you! <3

Nina - whereabouts are ya? I'm in Austin, with the majority of family being just north of Waco, so we drive through sometimes (and of course will be doing so for Christmas). N2MU!
