This is just a reminder that the HS'ing forum has a sticky thread for deals.  It'd be great if everyone could post them there to keep them in one place.  I subscribe to that thread so I'm notified of new posts.  But with a new thread in the forum, deals are "first come, first served".

Anyway, I just wanted to point out that we finally got what we asked for with the sticky thread, so let's use it!  :-)

Yes, I'll second this.

Please keep those deals in the sticky thread, those of us who are watching that thread get a notification when it's updated. I can't tell you how many deals I've missed b/c I don't check here everyday.

Lillian, it's the top thread on our forum - in red.  Post any deals there.

To "watch" a thread, click on "watch this topic" within any thread.  For instance, as I type here in the "post a reply" box, there's a blue link just above and to the right of the text box.  So if you want to "watch" the deals thread, click on that link within that thread.

Is there a way to take off the expired items. When I checked most/all of the items had already finished. Could this one post be backwards and list the most recent response first? Thanks

Just click on "go to last post" after you open the sticky thread.  Most people put expiration dates on their deals.

Those who post deals need to go in and edit the posts afterward to say "taken".

This hasn't bumped in awhile.  It appears it needs to be, so I'm bumping.

I was glad to see the change to the name of the deals thread. I have that thread highlighted so I get an email everytime a new offer comes in. I may miss other posts in this thread if I'm busy for a few days and don't get on.

I think to keep the deals thread from getting to long we may want to pm people if interested rather than communicating with them in that thread.

Keep those deals and offers coming.

Nancy
