I posted this in the PBS forum also, but since so many here offer books in bulk, I though I should also post here.
Many members are not aware (I wasn't) that in order to print up a bulk wrapper, and more importantly, a Delivery Confirmation (DC) for the bulk order, after the requestor orders the first book from the owner's book shelf, they should order the rest from the button that pops up saying "order more books from this member".
At least 3 times, members ordered books individually through my bookshelf, and I was only able to print up a DC for one of them, thereby not being able to have the credit assurance for the rest.
I wish PBS could find a better way for members to be aware of this, other than trial and error. Perhaps they're working on it. At first, for me, it seemed perfectly sensible to click the books one by one of those I wanted from the same member, not realizing they would not be able to get PBS/DC for more than the first.
Thought this would help all those who send/receive bulk orders.
Rose, have you actually tried to do this? My understanding is that you accept all books, and then go to one of them for printing out the postage. There you have the ability to change the weight to include the entire shipment, add DC, and it will calculate the whole shebang. This is how it works when someone orders one book in a deal, and then gets bonus books in the same package.
If this isn't what you mean, excuse me.
