What a great book! My kids love to read this even in the middle of the summer. It is getting close the Thanksgiving and turkeys have gone into hiding. The townsfolk have a great idea on how to capture Pete the turkey for their Thanksgiving meal. Aahh...but Peter is way to clever for these town folks.

It is written in rhyming text and we love this one. It is a keeper!

No turkey for Thanksgiving? How about luring one to town? But what happens when the "plump and perky turkey" is smarter than the townsfolk?
