From Pocket Books ---- Quoted from the website:  http://pocketafterdark.com

"Welcome to Pocket After Dark, an online community of urban fantasy and romance readers, where top authors share exiting new content and interact with fans. Check here regularly for free books, live chats, exclusive blogs, photos, video and more! So belly up to the bar at Pocket After Dark."

Currently you can read the first 2 chapers of: Susan Sizemore's Primal Instincts, Captured By Moonlight by Nancy Gideon, Alexis Morgan's Dark Warrior Untamed,  Jude Deveraux's Days Of Gold, Black Magic by Cherry Adair, and Black Dust Mambo by Adrian Phoenix.  They also offer a full read (online only) of 2 previous published books each month.

You can join using a previous account, in my case I used my Google account and didn't have to offer any additional information.  Just thought some of you might be interested in the content.

Are there any fees or downsides to joining that you're aware of?

Helen, I wasn't charged anything.  It appears to be partally a promotional site for pocket books authors to talk to fans and promote their books.
