Hi Everyone,

I am new to making polymer clay beads and was wondering if there are any other bead makers on PBS.   Do you know of any good websites for inspiration or instruction?  I really love stringing, but I am looking for a new challenge.  What is your favorite clay or tip?

Thanks for looking.

Stacey

I have done some polymer clay beads but  spend much more time making glass lampworked beads. The two methods use alot of the same techniques, though. I don't know of any good websites for polymer clay bead making, and although I do have a couple of books on making polymer clay beads and jewelry, most of the books I have seen and the ones that I own are pretty basic.

I am interested in using polymer clay to make buttons.  I have seen some interesting tutorials on the internet, just haven't had the time.   I know I would get addicted really quick if I started!

Thanks Karen, Eva, and Pam.  I was beginning to wonder if I was the only one out there!  I will have to check out that web site.

I make polymer clay beads. I have a few free tutorials on my website about canes and mokume gane (PM for info, I've been burned about this before on PBS, saying I was promoting). I've been doing it for 7 or 8 years now. A few good sites are http://www.glassattic.com and http://www.polymerclaycentral.com

For buttons, check out Sarajane's website: http://www.polyclay.com/buttons.htm
